This book would also not have been created if it were not for the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown that affected our dear planet so much. Under normal circumstances, I would never have had the time to work and write. It simply would not have been possible. As a small thank you, I will donate 5% of all sales (says he, hoping) to the UK’s National Health Service.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you wouldn’t be reading this if it were not for two wonderful ladies. One of them has been my girlfriend for many years and is one of the most magnificent and kind human beings that I have ever had the pleasure to know, let alone be each other’s best friend’s. She has suggested to me on hundreds of occasions that I should create what you’re presently looking at. Many other people have said the same thing. I always resisted because I didn’t have a clue as to how to go about writing a book. I now know that the actual writing is the easy part. Basically, all I had to do was copy from my mind and paste onto the screen. I had to do almost no research into the actual content of this book. It’s what came after I’d typed the words that was really hard for me.

            At the end of my book is a drawing of what looks to be two limousines lying on top of each other. I’m not sure why, but Liza really likes that creation and thinks that I should put it in the book somewhere. As I know what’s best for me, then her wish is my desire. You chaps know what I mean by that! I am but a mere slave to Liza’s desires (which works fine by me on some occasions!). Apologies (not really) in advance for the graphic on the 'a bit about me' page of this website. I don’t have any photos of myself holding open a limo door, so I thought I’d try the next best thing and just draw one. I’m not really that skinny, or handsome!!

            Enter Annemieke: she has spent a lot of time assisting me in all sorts of ways. Without her, the book would not be as it is now and certainly not in this decade!! Besides telling me about ‘push-push (check the glossary),’ she is also the author of ‘When we Wake up, Anything is Possible.’ Her book was 11 (yes, eleven) years in the making and is available from probably the same place where you found the book.
